Single girls between the ages of13 to 26 residing within the Coachella Valley will qualify.
Teen ( 13 to 17 ) ( Miss 17 to 26)
Pageant Presentation for judging:
1. Personal introduction - Use this for the personal interview
Miss Palm Springs™ titleholders must be articulate with excellent social and
conversational skills.
Titleholders must be able to express themselves clearly, diplomatically, and must
project a pleasant personality at all times.
Judges will.
* Focuses primarily on delegates' personal information (e.g., hobbies, ambition, etc.)
That may include opinion questions
that require general knowledge of social and current events. Judges will receive copy
of each delegates application
* Miss a business suit, Teen a nice dress these will be used in the opening review and for
your on stage personal introduction competition.
***Judging criteria: conversational skill, personality, demeanor, beauty, grooming,
and fashion sense.
2. Stage presence and overall visual poise
* Wear a long formal of your choosing for style and color
3. Final Question .. each delegate will answer question asked by the judges
Miss Palm Springs may qualify for a trip to Mazatlan, Mexico for the 2011 Carnival Festival
While in Mexico she will receive hotel, meals, local transportation and entry into the Queen
of Pacific pageant.
Teen & Miss Palm Springs if they qualify will represent Palm Springs and Coachella
Valley in several up coming Beauty Pageants {Miss California - America } (Miss California - USA)
and {Miss California International}.
Queen will receive banner, crown, plaque and scepter, other awards such as Personalize
business calling cards; portfolio of candid pictures; a CD or DVD ,cosmetics, designer dress,
and etc.
The prize will depend on the number of entries and donations.
Administration and processing fee is only $200. Per girl and it will be used to offset the
the purchase of the following:
Rental Room stage pageant in
Tiara/Crown $ 85.00 Teen & Miss $ 170.00
Plaques - Princesses $ 25.00 per girl $ 100.
Body Ribbon $ 55.00 Teen & Queen $ 110.00
Plaque $ 35.00 Teen & Miss Queen $ 70.00
Scepter $ 29.00 Teen & Miss $ 58.00
Judges lunches - Estimated $ 100.00
Sponsorships for Teen & Miss to enter other pageants, will average $450, for a local or
area pageant and State pageanst up to $ 2,000.00 (MISS CALIFORNIA USA 2009) charged a fee of
$1500.00 per delegate
Office Addminstration mailing, web page, telephone and etc.
And many other expenses...so you can see there will not be any funds left in the budget.
